Cagliari Underground

It is an underground world that stretches for miles through the bowels of the city.

The danger of war at the end of the 1930s will soon lead to the readjustment or to build from scratch the numerous tunnels that still characterize the city's subsoil today. 

These include the refuge gallery of the Salesian Institute in Stampace and the ancient crypt of Santa Restituta. 

The path winds its way to the discovery of these two mysterious and evocative cavities that have marked one of the most dramatic pages in the recent history of Cagliari.
